10. Favourite POV
This book is narrated by the character Richard Papen, one of the six students who make up the core cast of this story. Of the six, Richard is the outsider - not privy to a lot of what happens until further into the story, when events take a turn that make it necessary for him to be brought into the loop. Experiencing the seemingly innocent things from his point of view, then learning the truth about what he witnessed, causes the events to have that much more of an impact on Richard and the reader alike. This is one of those books that, going back and reading it after learning the truth, makes all those seemingly innocent scenes seem so much more terrifying.

(I’ll do the book quiz later today, promise!)
When I’m old I will live in a cottage by/in the woods and know strange things about nature and folklore. This book is helping me to achieve that. Thank you, book.
